New homes with a natural advantage

15 March 2023

The 14 new homes at Hawkins Field in Fittleworth have been given a natural advantage by developers, Elivia Homes.  They're creating a habitat which encourages butterflies, insects and birdlife with sedum planted roofs on the garages and carports of selected plots to give wildlife a natural boost.

Hawkins Field sits within the stunning South Downs National Park and makes the most of its village surroundings while helping to protect the environment through a range of eco-credentials for the new residents to enjoy.

Each of the seven private homes will have air-source heat pumps that operate the heating and hot water while high levels of insulation help create an energy-efficient home, keeping bills down.  The ground floor rooms benefit from underfloor heating which not only keeps the house cosy underfoot, it also means you can place furniture without compromising on radiator positions.

"Hawkins Field is a beautiful selection of just seven private homes ranging in size from gorgeous two bedroom houses to substantial four bedroom family homes with a rural outlook over countryside" said Karen Wiltshire-Colban of Elivia's appointed selling agent, Henry Adams Simply New Homes. "There will also be seven housing association homes that are designed to passive house standards, which means they'll also be very energy efficient.

"There's very much a country village feel at Hawkins Field which is enhanced by the open space that Elivia has designed into the scheme.  The attenuation drainage pond will hopefully also encourage wildlife to make this their new home".

The first two of the seven private homes at Hawkins Field have already been reserved.  Elivia Homes have designed each of these new homes in Fittleworth to sit comfortably in their rural surroundings.  Artisan brickwork and ivory hardwood windows, with matching soffits and facias, reflect the local architectural heritage to provide a mellow, welcoming appearance to Hawkins Field.

Interiors are equally outstanding - with a fresh, modern contrast.  Rooms are all well-proportioned, principal bedrooms have their own en suites and the living spaces are light and airy.  The chalet homes benefit from a ground floor bedroom suite, which could also be used as a study for those who work from home.

Kitchens are equipped with a range of Zanussi and AEG appliances, including an induction hob and a microwave oven.  Wardrobes and USB power sockets are fitted to both Bedrooms 1 and 2, while contemporary white Roca bathrooms are finished with elegant Porcelanosa tiling.

Prices at Hawkins Field start from £645,950 to £995,000 and the homes are expected to be ready to move into this summer.  Personal weekend appointments to visit these unique new homes in Fittleworth can be arranged through Henry Adams Simply New Homes by calling 01243 521833.
