How Key Worker Deposit Contribution Works

To show their appreciation for Key Workers, David Wilson Homes are offering a contribution towards your deposit.  When you purchase a David Wilson home using the scheme, they could contribute £1,000 towards your deposit for every £20,000 spent on the purchase price, and they will include flooring.

Here's an example of how it works: For a home costing £450,000 you could qualify for a contribution of £22,500.  Please see website for eligibility criteria & Terms & Conditions)

Own New - Rate Reducer scheme (available on selected plots and subject to Terms & Conditions see below)

How does Own New - Rate Reducer work?

- Dependant on build stage of your chosen home David Wilson Homes could contribute either 3% or 5% of the purchase price towards your move.

- The contribution goes directly to your mortgage lender (through the 3rd party Own New)

- You could reduce your mortgage interest rate by up to 3.19%*

- And could save on your monthly mortgage payments in the first 2-5 years.

Who is eligible for Own New - Rate Reducer?

- The scheme is available on new build homes

- And is available to first time buyers and existing homeowners

This scheme is one of many that David Wilson Homes offer (see website for more details).  Before making any decisions you should obtain independent mortgage advice.

Own New - Rate Reducer Terms and Conditions


David Wilson will make a cash payment after completion of 3% or 5% of the purchase price of the property to Own New, which will be passed on the relevant participating lender so that they can offer a mortgage product at a rate that is subsidised from their usual product range.

Mortgage offers will be made at the lenders discretion and in line with their criteria and therefore this offer does not constitute a guarantee of a mortgage offer.

David Wilson is not regulated by the FCA and offers no mortgage advice so customers must take advice from a regulated mortgage adviser before proceeding.

Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it.
