This is a practical and homely design that takes contemporary furniture and artwork combining them with modern metallic finishes and elegant accessories,” said Sanjay Ghela of John Lewis. 

“The schemes in the downstairs rooms flow together to create a cohesive look that brings together blue tones with highlights of copper, whereas the rooms upstairs each offer their own unique style. 

“The master bedroom, for example, has elements of deeper colours with splashes of silver to give a real feel of opulence. The third bedroom is a versatile space, which in this design has been utilised as an office but could just as easily be transformed into another bedroom.”
