CALA Homes is encouraging prospective purchasers across Cranleigh to attend its Help to Buy Event at Amlets Place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August where they can find out how they could make the move into their dream home a reality.
According to the National Audit Office the Help to Buy equity loan has proven to be popular since its launch back in 2013, with more than 200,000 people take advantage of the scheme to give them the boost needed. CALA's Help to Buy event on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August will provide valuable insight into the equity loan scheme, as well as giving house hunters the opportunity to learn more about the other incentives available at Amlets Place.
CALA's award winning Amlets Place development boasts a stylish collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, situated less than one mile from Cranleigh in the picturesque surroundings of the Surrey Hills. The development appeals to families, downsizers and commuters alike; with London being conveniently close. As a special incentive, CALA will be offering £10,000 towards Stamp Duty and £1,000 John Lewis vouchers for any reservations made at the Amlets Place Help to Buy Event on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August.
Through the Home and Communities Agency's (HCA) Help to Buy Equity Loan, the Government lends the buyer up to 20% of the cost of the newly built home, so they only need a 5% cash deposit. This also means that they can access lower interest rates on a 75% mortgage loan. There are no fees or interest payable on the 20% loan for the first five years of owning the home and buyers will legally own 100% of their home.
Amongst the homes available to buy through Help to Buy at Amlets Place is the 'Brook' house type, priced from £465,000. The two bedroom detached home is ideal for downsizers or smaller families looking for flexible living options. On the ground floor, house buyers can choose from one or three layouts for their kitchen, dining and sitting room to suit their lifestyle. The first floor is hoe to the master bedroom, which is accompanied by an en suite. This floor is complete with a stylish family bathroom and a study, perfect for those who work from home.
Nicki Dennis, Sales & Marketing Director for CALA Homes (South Home Counties) said "Amlets Place is perfectly located to provide something for everyone to enjoy, whether that be exploring South Down National Park or have a family day out in London or Brighton. The Help to Buy event at Amlets Place will give house hunters the perfect opportunity to ask any questions and take a tour of the stunning Show Homes at the development. Come and see us on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August and find out how you can make the move into your dram home using the incentives available".
