New home, new baby 100% applies to us !

Ben and Chelsea Thomas have just moved into their newly built home at Priors Orchard in Southbourne with their son Max (3) as the family prepares for the arrival of their new baby this summer.

"We were looking for the perfect family home to bring up our children" says Chelsea. "So we decided to take the plunge to buy at Priors Orchard and moved in with just a few weeks to spare.  We wanted somewhere with village life, good schools and with buses and a station for when the children are older and Southbourne ticked all the boxes.  I grew up here so all of my family are nearby and although the area is a bit more expensive than some of the surrounding areas, I knew we'd gain so much living here and we already have".

Ben and Chelsea had bought their first home together four years ago in a setting convenient for commuting but just six weeks after completion, Chelsea discovered she was pregnant with Max.  "We grew out of that home almost as soon as we'd moved in" she laughs.  "And then just after we sold that property earlier this year, I found I was pregnant again, so the phrase 'new home new baby' 100% applies to us ! We did look at older properties but decided that doing up an old place while raising a young family wouldn't be ideal.  Then we visited every development within a wide area.  Seaward Properties stood out by far, purely because of the finish and the quality of their houses" says Chelsea. 

"There were lots of things included which on other developments were counted as upgrades, such as carpets are included and the garden is turfed.  It meant the house was 100% ready when we arrived to move in. so the only thing we had to do was arrange for blinds to be fitted.  Everything else was ready for our furniture and Max's toys".

"Most importantly a lot of the new 3 bedroom houses we had looked at had 2 double bedrooms and a box room, whereas here we've got 3 double bedrooms" says Chelsea.  "There's plenty of space now for the children as they grow up, so it means we can hopefully stay here forever".
